Digital illustration at its best – Works by Geoff Trebs

I do not pretend to convert this blog of mine into a sort of “Pinterest gallery”, just showing pictures out of context and devoid of well-documented comments, but since I showed, time ago (on my sister’s blog) a couple of superb Manga illustrations by Yuumei (you may look at them HERE and HERE), I do believe I must show as well a few others by an American artist called Geoff Trebs, signing as Dinmoney, which I have just discovered on DeviantArt.

These are four alien landscapes, extremely well drawn and very impressive to see! The sense of form, depth and, in fact, immensity, along with a very original palette of colours and shades, makes them outstanding to my eyes among all the huge lot of manga drawings, paintings and cartoons uploaded to the WWW day after day.

I present them here in a rather high definition (click on the pics to see them in detail; it’s worth the while!) :

  1. Geoff’s images are impressive along with your assessment of these fine works. Deviant Art is a wonderful site but you have to work through a lot of clutter to find the gems. Thanks for sharing these with us and exposing us to dinmoney.

    1. Oh… Thank you very much for your words of kindness to me.
In fact I spend quite a lot of time looking at artwork online –an addiction, because I should better dedicate more hours to my own graphic and literary (not in English) work, still quite unknown :)) A big hug 💐 ✨

    1. I agree 🙂 Thanks for commenting, sis; your opinion matters to me.
(I wish I could live from my own artistic work as well, instead of doing many tasks I growingly dislike (even hate, now), but I have been too shy and silly so far)
      💐 !

        1. Perhaps… Anyway, I love your encouraging me. I will reblog a tale I posted long ago and had a small handful of visits and had never brought me a single penny … (I have written much more with the same success.) People use to think I have much better use for lower jobs (literally speaking).

        1. I posted a tale once… and several translations from English and German into my mother language. Regarding visual arts, I have only shared some drawings privately. As I said a while ago to you, I’ve been shy… and silly. I will try to be more open from now on, if my health allows.

  2. If art is your passion then you should pursue it, You should see the very first pen I made, when I look at it now I see every imperfection. 4 years later I see how far I’ve come when I see the work I do now. Time, patience, and growing have improved my skills. Hope to see some of your work one day. *HUGS*

  3. I would LOOOOOOVE to see your work, Dear SIs! You have such a beautifully creative mind, and you curate so beautifully – anything you make would be utterly fabulous. As it is, your work with color and photographs is breathtaking.

Having said that – these are some phenomenal bits of work. I’ve never been exactly one to want to sit on a space ship for X number of years to see a new planet, but this artist may have just shifted my mindset.

    1. I just Love how you act when you want to do good 💖 ! You Do it indeed, even with your Huge Flattering, because you know how childlike I am 😉 I will share some work of mine as soon as I have more leisure time and feel physically better. (((Seven Kisses)))

      1. Hopefully, I want to do good more often than bad 😉

No, Beloved – I’m not flattering you to manipulate or push you – I’m telling you the truth as I see it. You are not childlike, and I do wish I had some pixie dust of some sorts to make you feel better. I worry about you.

        1. I know you are fair :))
As for me being childlike…, look: I have incorporated that tub full of bubbles –from many months ago! — and the warm towels afterwards, etc… into my first set of available and likeable daydreams. When I figure it out, I like to see myself smallish and docile and, yes, childlike. That’s me.

          1. Heheh – bubbles aren’t childlike – they’re luxury; as are warm towels and gentle pats. I love you regardless – childlike or protective of those you love.

            1. 💝 💖 💜
I think I’ve going backwards… I was much more adult-minded, strong-hearted, reliable and protective as a teen than now. The older I am, the littler. Honest! 🙂
              Kisses, Sis !!!
