“Lil” is a novel by me, recently published. I say this again in English for most of my followers on this blog. Since the book is in Catalan –and a bit in Romani as well–, I introduced it in Catalan, and posted it without a translation. I won’t translate it now; just say it’s about a couple of young teen boys in love, and, of course, in distress. Lil is thirteen, Stif is two years older and has Romani ascent, which makes things even worse. They try their best to overcome bullying and abuse until it becomes unbearable, and have to fight mercilessly for their lives, with success and a bitter cost.

Things happen in a town in Catalonia, where I was born and lived some twenty years, and quite a few are more or less true. Love and friendship are actual and always true. Hatred and pain are too.

The apology is addressed to several friendly readers of my blog, time ago, since I’ve been away for years, not keeping up with their posts; with a few random exceptions. I beg their pardon.
