Déjà vu, déjà vécu – A Humble Defence of Hentai Manga

Posted by me on my late sister’s blog on July 6th this year – I reblog it here because that other blog has very scarce visitors (if any, nowadays) and because I have been encouraged to do it by a person which I trust and love much –even if he questions some of my points, sometimes–, and also by a couple of peers from the LGBTQ+ organization I belong to. They have liked it, in spite of my first guess… Thanks G. and D. for your warm support 🙂

Something Beyond

I like manga, and now also hentai manga (yaoi-oriended), because I find in it some illustrations very difficult (perhaps impossible) to see elsewhere. Twenty-five, and more, years ago nobody could draw a teen girl showing her “pee” like this one here… No way; no possible public acceptance.

Boys could be gay, could be effeminate, could be “trannies” (still with some issues and many prejudices related to it), but they could not be girls; even less, attractive and seductive girls.

Homosexuality (and perhaps, in this case, paedophilia) would have been the only available concept to qualify the intention behind a drawing like the one I show here. “Faggot and “sissy” and “slut”, the words to call the person depicted with the attitude depicted.
